Samawatte Estate
The Samawatte Estate is located in picturesque Kahawatte in the Ratnapura District. The Estate is reputed for its fine Ceylon tea. The factory has a daily capacity to process 7000 kilogrammes of green leaf and undertakes the manufacture of high quality leafy grades. In 2011, the Samawatte mark excelled, with its mark being ranked top amongst other marks in the Sabaragamuwa Province.
