Gurubebila

Gurebella is a quiet village between between Midigama Left and Weligama Bay. There are two local surf breaks Plantation point and Coconut point. It’s pretty chilled and we surf there from dawn till dusk. You get some lovely clean barrels from a left and right hander, up to 5ft on a good day and a 400m ride. Plantation Point is great for early morning rides with both lefts and rights. It’s a rocky entry but is easier to ride than Coconut which is a classic A-Frame formation better suited for experienced surfers. A quiet village between between Midigama and Weligama Bay. Gurebella has two local surf breaks; Plantation point and Coconut point. Great place to surf from dawn till dusk. Take a longer board and cruise the long ride at Lazy Left or get barrelled at Ram's challenging right hander. Very few tourists so you pretty much have the waves to yourself. 12 km from Cafe Ceylon. Guruebella is a quiet village between between Midigama and Weligama. The village has a surf culture / back packer vibe with very few mainstream tourists, just cows, around 70 local families and a cricket team. Guest houses have opened up in recent years so there are plenty of rooms where you can stay away from the busy A2 main road with just the sound of the ocean at night. There are two local  intermediate, reef surf breaks  Coconut Point and Plantation Point. It’s pretty chilled, friendly out the back, you can surf there from dawn till dusk. There is a great roti cafe that opens early in the morning with deep fried rottie, sooo good.
