The distance from Colombo to Thalpe is about 130km while the Unawatuna Beach is about a 5 - 10 minute drive away from the Villa. The easiest ways to get to the South consists of the Southern Railway and the Southern Expressway that currently ends in Matara. If you prefer a relaxing drive, you can always take the Colombo - Galle - Matara coastal road. The villa is located along the main Matara road near the 78 Milestone.
