About Amaya Beach, Pasikuda

Amaya Beach Sri Lanka is set next to the beach at Passikudah Bay, a long stretch of coastline renowned for its calm and shallow waters, ideal for swimming and water sports. The outer bay has an extensive coral reef and there are scattered coral communities within the bay, together forming one of the best-known reef systems in the Indian Ocean. The resort, which is on the east side of the island, is 35 kilometres north of Batticaloa.

Uniquely set next to the beach at Passikudah Bay, the Amaya Beach faces a long stretch of unspoilt coastline which is well known for its shallow and calm waters. Located along the breath taking east coast of Sri Lanka, the resort is about 35km North of Batticaloa while the distance from Colombo is approximately 320km. There is a railway line that runs from Colombo to Batticaloa while air taxis and car rentals are available from the airport.

The Amaya Beach consists of 125 guestrooms and suites that are designed with lavish decor and vivid colours that reflects the island.
